One of the two founding partners and owners of GSG Associates, Glenda has been in the healthcare field for more than 35 years- more than half of which has been in the managed care industry, concentrating on workers' compensation medical care management.
Before founding GSG Associates, Inc., she spent ten years with United Healthcare (now United Health Group) developing their first managed care program in the state of California. Later, while still with United Healthcare, she developed and implemented the first utilization management program in the nation specifically for workers' compensation. This program consistently resulted in a return on investment in excess of 10:1. Her programs later encompassed ambulatory review and disability management. Her experience and reputation as a top executive at United Healthcare, one of the nation's largest managed care companies, has given our company the vision and expertise to respond to the market's need for our services.
In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Glenda received her Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
Glenda participates in the California Chamber of Commerce's workers' compensation committee. In her free time, Glenda participates in the Tournament of Roses Association. She also loves to travel. Among her many stops, she has toured hospitals in the former Soviet Union and Ireland, dove on the Great Barrier Reef, and reveled in the festivities at October-fest in Munich. | |
