GSG’s software system for Medical Case Management/Utilization review is provided by GSG’s sister company Advocate Technology Solutions (ATS). Virtual Case Management Solution, or VCMS ® as it is more commonly referred to as, is a powerful web-based tool that gives GSG the ability to provide efficient and effective services to its clients.
VCMS facilitates and streamlines processing of utilization review requests and performing Case Management functions. While VCMS automates much of the processes involved with Utilization review and Case Management, it does not in any form, take the clinical decision making capabilities away from the nurses or physicians. Instead, it allows the end-user to spend more time analyzing, rather than looking for, information. VCMS reduces the time spent on clerical tasks such as creating letters, reports, and sending notifications by automating these processes. Additionally, VCMS serves as a single source of information accessible from any computer connected over the internet.
