Benefit Summary

Medical
(Available to full and part time employees working at least 20 hours per week)
  • Provided through Blue Shield PPO and HMO. GSG offers a comprehensive major medical plan that includes prescription drug coverage.
  • GSG pays 50% of the employee's premium. 
  • The employee’s portion of the premium is deducted from each paycheck.
  • The employee is eligible the first day of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.
Dental
(Available to full and part time employees working at least 20 hours per week)
  • Provided through UNUM.
  • GSG pays 75% of the employee’s premium and none of the dependent’s premium. (Employee 25% premium and all dependent premiums are deducted from each paycheck.)
  • The employee is eligible the first day of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.
Vision
(Available to full and part time employees working at least 20 hours per week)
  • Provided through Vision Service Plan (VSP)
  • GSG pays 100% of the employee’s and dependents' premium.
  • The employee is eligible the first day of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.
401k/Profit Sharing
(Available to all employee classifications)
  • Provided through the Principal Financial Group.
  • GSG matches $0.50 on the dollar of the first 5% withheld. Employee can contribute any amount per check but only up to the maximum federal allowance for the tax year.
  • Employee can join on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment.
Life Insurance
(Available to full and part time employees working at least 20 hours per week)
  • Provided through Unum ($50,000).
  • Premium is paid by GSG.
  • Employees are eligible on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment.
Short & Long Term Disability
(Available to full and part time employees working at least 20 hours per week)
  • Provided through Unum.
  • Premium for employee paid by GSG.
  • Employees are eligible on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
(available to full time employees; regular part time employees accrue time based on the number of hours worked)

PTO Entitlement Based on Full Time Employment (40 hour) Tenure

One (1) year – five (5) years 120 hours (15 days)
More than five (5) years & less than (10) years 160 hours (20 days)
More than ten (10) years 200 hours (25 days)

Holiday Pay (Available to full and part time employees working at least 20 hours per week)

GSG employees are entitled to nine (9) paid holidays per year: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day.
Education

Regular full time and regular part time employees who have completed 90 days of service are eligible for educational assistance. GSG will reimburse up to $500 per year for qualified continuing education.
Nurse Finder’s Fee

Nurse Finder’s Fee for a full time nurse: $500
Nurse Finder’s Fee for a per diem or part time nurse: $250
